Clients rely on Aran for his unfailing focus when it comes to doing whatever it takes to meet their needs. In addition to his extensive expertise in securities transactions, Aran’s practice spans mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance issues, and matters relating to corporate reorganization and business relationships. Prior to joining Chaitons LLP in 1996, Aran was a partner at an established Toronto law firm where he practiced corporate and commercial law.

Aran graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1982 and was called to the bar two years later. Throughout his career he has represented and advised a broad range or corporate clients in both the private and public sectors.

Aran is known and respected within both the legal and business communities. He has taught the Business Law Section of the Bar Admission Course as well as served as a member of the editorial board of the publication Mergers and Acquisitions in Canada. He continues to write articles and participate in a variety of professional conferences.
