Matthew’s practice includes both commercial law and real estate with a focus on secured lending.
Matthew represents financial institutions and corporate entities on a variety of commercial transactions, including asset-based lending, real estate financing, construction financing, syndicated credit facilities, lease reviews, and the acquisition or sale of land. He routinely advises his clients throughout all stages of a commercial transaction, from the initial structuring to closing.
Matthew is a graduate of the dual law program offered by the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Matthew graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time on the golf course, playing hockey, travelling, or trying new restaurants.
