Clients rely on him to manage complex issues, keep transactions moving, and deliver well-considered solutions under tight timelines.
His practice focuses on secured lending and corporate finance, including revolving credit facilities, term loans, real estate and construction financing, equipment financing, and asset-based lending (ABL). He acts for Schedule I banks, institutional lenders, and private lenders on bilateral and syndicated financing transactions, including cross-border credit facilities, intercreditor and priority arrangements, and forbearance matters. He also provides independent opinions to court-appointed officers, including receivers and monitors.
Lee has acted on transactions ranging from mid-market deals to complex cross-border syndicated financings. His recent work includes acting for a major Canadian chartered bank in proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA) and in a significant receivership. He holds a Juris Doctor from Queen’s University Faculty of Law and a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies, with an Honours Double Major in Finance and Political Science, with Distinction, from Western University.
