Fabiana is an Associate in the firm’s Banking & Financial Services Group. Her practice focuses on insolvency, enforcement, and recovery matters, acting for a broad range of clients including financial institutions and other lenders.
Prior to joining Chaitons, Fabiana practiced at a boutique Toronto law firm representing major Canadian banks in the areas of debt collection and mortgage enforcement proceedings. She also brings commercial litigation experience from Brazil, which together with her clerkship at the Brazilian Superior Court, has helped her develop a practical and detail-driven approach to resolving complex legal disputes.
Fabiana holds a Master of Laws (GPLLM) from the University of Toronto and a LL.M in Tax Law from FGV in Brazil which have provided her with a strong legal foundation that complements her insolvency and enforcement practice.
