Summer Student Programs

Chaitons’ summer student program is designed to provide students with an introduction to the workings of a fast-paced law firm. We strive to provide our students with practical, hands-on experience in all areas of our practice including Litigation, Insolvency and Restructuring, Corporate Law, Commercial Real Estate and Financial Services. Our summer students are counted on to carry the same responsibilities and to have the same opportunities as our articling students . We expect that the experience of summering will provide our students with a great head start on the articling process.

Chaitons participates in virtual on-campus interviews at select law schools in Ontario. If Chaitons does not conduct virtual on-campus interviews at your law school, we still encourage you to apply. We will review all applications received during the recruitment process and look forward to inviting eligible candidates to our office for in firm interviews. 

To apply for a summer student position, please submit your cover letter, resumé, undergraduate and law school transcripts, a list of upper-year courses and references through the viLaw Portal in accordance with the timelines established by the Law Society of Ontario for the City of Toronto.
