Summer Student Programs

Chaitons’ summer student program is designed to provide students with an introduction to the workings of a fast-paced law firm and real world legal experience.

We strive to provide our students with practical, hands-on experience. Our summer students are counted on to carry the same responsibilities and to have the same opportunities as our articling students. We expect that the experience of summering will provide our students with a great head start on the articling process.

We accept summer student applications in accordance with the timelines established by the Law Society of Ontario in respect of positions in the City of Toronto. Please refer to the Law Society of Ontario’s website for the current application deadlines. Please note that we do not conduct on campus interviews. Instead, we conduct our first interviews with summer student applicants during the Toronto interview week selected by the Law Society of Ontario.

To apply for a summer student position for summer 2025, please submit your cover letter, resumé, undergraduate and law school transcripts, listing of upper year courses and references to careers@chaitons.com.
