Philip is a partner and member of the firm’s executive committee. With a focus on finance, Philip has extensive experience acting primarily for lenders in asset-based, secured, mezzanine, subordinated, distressed, real estate and construction financings. He brings business acumen and a keen eye for detail to his work advising clients on all aspects of financing including debt restructuring in distress situations and security enforcement. Philip’s clients include financial institutions and private and public lenders.
Philip obtained his LL.B. at Osgoode Hall Law School in 1995 and was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1997.
Outside of the office, Philip is an avid skier and served as President of Alpine Ski Club where he has been skiing for over 30 years.
