George is widely recognized for his expertise within the business and legal communities. George represents and advises a broad range of lenders, bondholders, indenture trustees and other stakeholders in proceedings commenced under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act, Personal Property Security Act, Business Corporations Act and other commercial and insolvency-related statutes. He regularly acts as independent counsel to court-appointed receivers, trustees in bankruptcy and court-appointed inspectors. He also regularly represents officers, directors and shareholders of private companies in the context of disputes, both in court proceedings and in alternative dispute processes.
