As an associate in Chaitons’ Real Estate Group, Esme focuses on commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions and dispositions, financing, project development and commercial leasing. Esme also practices in Chaitons’ Corporate Finance Group, focusing on commercial lending.
Esme, who holds a B.A. (Hons.) from Queen's University and a Juris Doctor degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, began her career with Chaitons LLP in 2012 as an articling student. She was called to the Bar in 2013.
Esme stands out for her enthusiasm, ability, and sense of social responsibility. During law school she worked in the law group of one of Canada’s leading financial institutions. Esme also volunteered with Lake Ontario Waterkeeper, a Canadian charity that works to restore and protect the Lake Ontario watershed, and ARCH Disability Law Services, a speciality legal clinic that provides legal services to Ontarians with disabilities.

Esme acts as counsel to both borrowers and lenders in connection with financing transactions, as well as purchasers and vendors of development lands, seniors’ residences and commercial/industrial properties.
