Maral’s practice areas are focused on commercial real estate and corporate law. She represents her clients in purchase and sale of commercial properties, equity and debt financing, as well as real estate development. Her practice also includes advising clients on corporate governance and representing clients in mergers and acquisitions. She has acted as external counsel for a real estate investment and development company, and regularly works with entrepreneurs and start-ups. Maral brings to her practice years of experience in the real estate and information technology sectors. She has served as a board member for start-ups, non-profit and mid-sized organizations.

Maral graduated Queen’s Law in 2013 and was called to the Bar in Alberta in 2014 and Ontario in 2016. She worked at a national law firm in Calgary where she practiced corporate finance and securities law. Prior to joining Chaitons LLP, Maral ran a busy sole practice acting for real estate developers and various corporate clients.
